What is a Node Locked Licence?

A Node Locked licence contains activations which are applied permanently to the instance of the application running for a user on a device.  Once applied, the application will remain activated for all subsequent uses.

Activations can be freed up for reactivation on another device or by another user in two ways:
  1. Access the application's about box / about page and push the Deactivate button, or
  2. The licence owner can log in to the Licensing Portal, locate the Activations page for the respective licence, then delete the activation assigned to the device. This scenario would be the likely option to use if someone has used your licence key without your permission.
